BIG SHOT POLAROID PORTRAITS
Each portrait is made using an original Polaroid Big Shot camera, expired Fuji FP-100C peel-apart instant film and a vintage Magicube flash.
This is an analogue process using materials that are no longer manufactured. Part of the portrait is therefore chance: colour shifts, marks, chemical inconsistencies and unexpected results are all possible.
BIG SHOT PORTRAITS
£120 per exposure
Each exposure includes:
• The original physical peel-apart photograph
• A high-resolution digital scan sent by email
ONE SHOT. NO RETAKES.
Each booking covers one exposure.
The film is expired and no longer manufactured, so every photograph is unpredictable. Colour shifts, chemical marks, uneven or partial development, and unsuccessful results are possible.
You receive the original photograph from your sitting regardless of the final result.
No complimentary retakes or refunds are offered once the exposure has been made.
Additional exposures may be purchased for £120 each, subject to film availability.
THE FORMAT
Big Shot portraits are tight head-and-shoulders photographs, shot using an original Polaroid Big Shot camera and vintage Magicube flash.
The framing and aesthetic are deliberately consistent with the original Big Shot format.
BOOKING
Payment is required before the portrait is taken.
By booking, you confirm that you understand and accept the nature of expired instant film and the one-exposure, no-retake policy.
